Asia, football, telly, funk, punk and freebie.

Hello madam, hello sir,
cheers to those that came to the Good Ship at the weekend, it was a lot of fun. This week there is lots of cultural and uncultural stuff during the week and then a banging weekend as per. I won't be there as I will be away in Brighton raising a few beers to my birthday so no misbehaving over the weekend when I'm not there eh?
Monday
Monday Love. The lovely people from Monday Love with the 4th instalment of their 3 month residency at The Good Ship. Tonight's theme is East Asia and there will be films from that region plus discussion and live music and DJs til 2am. Plus it is all completely free.
Tuesday and Wednesday
The uncultural bits. Well, culture of a sort I guess. West Ham v Liverpool at 745 on Tuesday and Man Utd v Watford at 8 on Wednesday will be the big screen games. On the Wednesday night I'll be in Kilburn's finest curry emporium Geeta getting fed and tipsy if anyone fancies coming and then back to T'Ship after.
Thursday

P.O.L.E, the New Cross crew, still modest despite their Time Out splurge present another outstanding bill of punk energy and pop melodies. Dress up because Channel 4 will be there filming for their news show about live music in London.

There's more to Ireland dan dis

Dear all, just thought I would tell you first that tonight there is absolutely nothing going on at The Good Ship except Niall and Michelle behind the bar. Get in on the jukebox before they inflict their tastes upon ye. Only £1 for 5. I was in The Good Mixer (no relation) last week and it was 5 for TWO pounds. Can you believe it?? No, me neither.
Anyway, cheers to everyone who has come to the Good Ship this month, I reckon this January has been the best month since we opened, great it has been. The rest of this week is chockablock with stuff so here you go. There are discounts at the end of each night in bold. Nearly all of our events start about 8pm and charging stops about 1130 during the week so if you are popping in after for a late drink you should be fine.
