Free to do what I want, any old time

Hi Misters and Misses,
ok tonight we have a free gig, tomorrow we have a Northern only bands music industry showcase including hot tip next big thing Attic Lights, the football on Wednesday is on the 2nd massivest screen in Kilburn, Thursdays music line up is extraordinary, Friday's is rocking and see you late on Saturday and Sunday seeing as there is no work on Monday.
By the way in July we will have free comedy every Monday for one month only. Also if anyone wants to book the balcony on Friday/Saturday nights for a birthday or any occasion please get in touch asap; they usually go well in advance.

Monday 21st May

The |nstititute of Contemporary Music Performance (icmp.uk.com) presents a showcase featuring soloists and bands from their students and tutors. A great night of music and mingling.

Tuesday 22nd May

Northern Monkie in conjunction with Indiestore.com presents a music industry showcase of all the best from the North down in the South. There will be tea and biscuits, pie & mash, bingo in the break plus DJs. Live performances from

ODI www.indiestore.com/odimusic Damian Rice intensity with haunting female vocals and a bit of PJ Harvey edge… a modern take on folk from Leeds via Ireland.

Brendan Campbell www.indiestore.com/brendancampbell passionate and wild haired young singer-songwriter from Glasgow, mixing celtic roots with classic American storytelling in the style
of the greats - a hint of Simon & Garfunkel or smidgen of Springsteen...

Josephine Oniyama www.myspace.com/josephineoniyama From Manchester, playing simply acoustic she has an amazing voice, distinctive and soulful with hints of Americana - I Think It Was Love is totally spine-tingling.

Attic Lights www.myspace.com/thoseatticlights They have been building a proper following in Scotland, with radio interviews and everything, and they're about to start the ball rolling down here with a record deal already pending

Wednesday 23rd May
Football on the humungous screen. Liverpool v Milan. Let's hope for a bit of excitement after Saturday's game. Paint dry, it's just like watching paint dry.

Thursday 24th May

Club AC30 presents an amazing night of food for the musical part of the brain.

Monday 28th May

Amna presents Little Lowkey an evening of up and coming bands and soloists doing unplugged sets from 6pm to 11pm. At least 5 acts all to be confirmed. New artists recommended to come along and introduce for future slots.
