Kate Bush, not James Blunt

Just a quick reminder to all that if you want to hold a birthday party or similar we can hire part or all of The Good Ship for free in nearly all cases.

Now, what was I going to tell you all. Oh yes, this Thursday we have Songbirds and Troubadours which is an acoustic night in the window, all mellow and stuff. Last week we had some amazing singers, none more so than Kat Flint who you can have a listen to at http://www.myspace.com/katflint. Kind of like a Tori Amos Kate Bush she was. Now, if we happen to unearth a James Blunt I promise that we will close down. If however, we do find another Rufus Wainwright or indeed Tori Amos Kate Bush, well, we shall just stay open. So £2 will get you in for this night.

Friday is always house DJs and Saturday is always something else. So this Saturday it is Maurice and he will be playing Motown, old soul and a smattering of indie and punk/new wave. Free entry before 1030, £3 or £5 after.

All you Kilburnites will know Dave Clarke and his band of musicians. Well, they will be doing a monster blues jam from 6pm til about midnight this coming Sunday and we will probably have them in most Sundays thereafter. £3 entry.

Next week sees the general knowledge quiz on Tuesday, lots of live bands on Thursday and a proper St.Patrick's Day tear up on the Friday.

See you soon.

cheers
